Education opportunities for past, current and future generations of Afghan children, teenagers, and young adults have been hurt beyond belief by years of war, neglect and sometime active opposition to schooling. In particular, the rights of women and girls to education have been damaged enormously in the last decade. The goal is to rebuild the shattered educational infrastructure focused on quality and diverse opportunities for learning.
