Executive Director
Umar Habib Hakeemi is the Executive Director of New Society Reconstruction and Development Organization (NSRDO), a leading non-profit organization focused on education, community development, WASH, ESNFI, Protection, Health, Food Security, Enterprise Development and youth empowerment in order to protect Women and children from the rampant abuse in society and eliminate the menace of domestic violence and child abuse. In this role, Umar Habib oversees all strategic and operational aspects of the organization, working closely with the Board of Directors to set the vision and drive the organization's impact.
Umar Habib brings over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and social impact sectors. Prior to joining NSRDO, he served as Deputy Director at ARWEO, where he led the design and implementation of several high-profile initiatives focused on education, community development, WASH, ESNFI, Protection, Health, Food Security, Enterprise Development and youth empowerment . Umar has also held consulting roles with various international development agencies, advising on projects related to Education, Health, Food Security, Enterprise Development, WASH, ESNFI and Protection.
Mr. Umar Habib holds two Master degree in Economics and Project Management and has participated in numerous conferences and workshops. Where he has shared his expertise and contributed to discussions on program management, innovation, and social impact.
Under his leadership, NSRDO has expanded its reach and deepened its impact within the communities it serves.
